Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC) in Nasarawa State, has bagged peace award from the National Headquarters of PCRC for promoting and maintaining peace in Nasarawa State
Abuluya, who is also the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide bagged the award at the 40th anniversary of PCRC at Merit House Maitama Abuja today.
The Proprietor of Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga Nasarawa State said that the award would spur him to do more in promoting unity and peace in the state.
” I want to appreciate PCRC for honouring me with the award and I want to assure them of my continuous readiness to promote peace in the state and the society in general.
” As the importance of peace to human and societal development could not be overemphasized.
” Peace is priceless and non negotiable, and it is the necessary requirement for the development of any society. ” he said
Abuluya assured of his continous commitment to collaborate with police and other security agencies in order to promote peace in the state.
He called on the people of the state and the country at large to give their maximum support to the security agencies in order to curtail crime in the country.
The Nasarawa State PCRC boss also assured of his continous determination to initiate good policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state
