The Police Command in Ebonyi State, on Tuesday, has confirmed the attack and killing of two persons by yet to be identified gunmen at Isu in Onicha Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesman of the Command, DSP Joshua Ukandu, cconfirrmed gruesome murder, adding that,the command received the report of the incident around 6:45 pm.
‘:We got the report from a divisional police officer of Onicha LGA that the incident happened on, June 2. The Police is investigating the matter.
It was learnt that a Councillor, Mr. Stanley Nwaeze who represent Enuagu ward in the area and Arinze Ugochukwu was killed by suspected gunmen.
Ugochukwu was the Coordinator of National Youth Council Of Nigeria and a native of Amagu Mgbom village in Isu community in Onicha LGA
