The people of Kokona West constituency, Nasarawa State have thrown their weight behind the conferment of traditional title of Garkuwan Eggon Worldwide on the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau by the Aren Eggon Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku (Rtd).
Reacting to the development, Director General, Hon.Jatau Campaign Organisation, Mallam Ibrahim Abubakar felicitates with the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau over the New traditional title of Garkuwan Eggon and wished him more good things ahead.
While appreciating the Aren Eggon for considering the Speaker for the title, he said the appointment know doubt will open a new chapter for the Speaker to do more in his service to humanity and advocacy for peace, unity and development in Eggon land and the State at large.
Also reacting to the conferment of the traditional title of Garkuwan Eggon on the Speaker, his immediate community of Bassa in Kokona LGA identified with him and thanked the paramount ruler of Eggon for considering him for the traditional title.
Speaking on behalf of the Speaker’s immediate community of Bassa, the Santalin Bassa, Mr Jacob Awuje Tsaku said the people of Speaker immediate community rejoiced with him over the New traditional title of Garkuwan Eggon.
The community prayed God to protect and guide him through.
The Santalin Bassa, Mr Jacob Awuje Tsaku, who is the Chief of Staff to the Speaker said the people of Bassa community re-assured the Speaker of their total royalty and support to enable him succeed on the task ahead of him.
It would be reported that HRH, Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku (Rtd) Aren Eggon on Saturday, June 22, 2024, conferred Garkuwan Eggon on Speaker Jatau for his positive contributions to the development of Eggon nation and the state at large.
