Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has urged newly wedded couples to avoid third party interference, engage on effective communication for their marriage to be successful.
Speaker Jatau also urged new couples to embrace peace, unity, sacrifice, forgiveness, tolerance and understanding among other good attributes of marriage for their martial home to be successful and peaceful.
The Speaker made the call during the wedding fatiha of his Cousin, Lawal Danjuma Arinbo and Hafsat Yahaya in Masallachi Juma’a Rada Ruwa, Jos North, Plateau State today.

Speaker Jatau urged Lawal and his wife, Hafsat to always abide by the attributes of marriage saying that it is the way for them to enjoy the marriage.
” I want to congratulate Mr Lawal Danjuma Arinbo and his beautiful wife on their successful marriage.
” I pray that God should bless their marriage abundantly.
” I want to use this medium to advise Mr Lawal Danjuma Arinbo and his wife to be patient, show understanding and embrace love, unity, peace and effective communication for their marriage to last,” he said.
Jatau also called on them not to allow third party interference into the marriage.
The Speaker called on the people of Plateau and Nasarawa States to continue to co-exist peacefully with one another irrespective of their affiliations.
” We are neighbours with Plateau State, So I urge the people of Nasarawa and Plateau States to continue to live in peace and unity irrespective of our affiliations and I want to reiterate my calls for inter-state marriage” he added.
Father of the Bride, Alhaji Yahaya Aliyu and Alhaji Bawa Abdullahi who stood in for the Groom’s father said all marriage doctrine were followed including the payment of N250, 000 as dowry.
Also Speaking, Hon Musa Gude (SDP-Uke/Karshi) NSHA lawmaker, Hon. Samuel Emgba, the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation, Hon Auwalu Adamu, Chairman, Kokona LGA, Mr Moses Namo, Mr Mohammed Steve Ahmed Alaku, all from Nasarawa State while congratulating the couple, wished them happy married life.
They urged them not to allow third party interference for their marriage to be successful.
They also urged the couple to embrace peace, unity, understanding, patience among other attributes of marriage.
Mallam Aliyu Yahaya, the Chief Imam of Masallachi Juma’a Rada Ruwa, Jos North, Plateau State while presiding over the weeding fatiha pronounced Danjuma and Hafsat as husband and wife after the payment of N250,000 as dowry and presentation of medical certificates.
The cleric also prayed God to bless the couple and wished them peaceful married life.
Responding, Mr Lawal Danjuma Arinbo, the Groom appreciated the Speaker and other dignitaries for attending the weeding fatiha.
” I want to appreciate God for making our dreams become reality,” he said
It would be reported that the marriage ceremony climaxed with reception at Vonke Guest House, Lamingo Road Rikkos Central, Jos as guest were entertained just as they eat, wine and celebrate.
