Member representing Uke/Karshi constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Saidu Gude, has commissioned 10 new motorized boreholes he constructed in different communities of his constituency.
He also donated 10 generators that would help the benefitting communities to pump water.
Hon. Gude, the Chairman, House Committee on Nasarawa Urban Development Board (NUDB) commissioned the boreholes and made the different donations today in Karshi, Karu LGA.
The lawmaker also disbursed N100,000 each to 10 youths trained in different skills acquisition programme at Wing Commander Abdullahi Ibrahim Vocational and Technology Institute, Lafia.
“What I am doing today is to change on the standard of living of the people of my constituency positively.
” As you can see, I have commissioned boreholes, I have donated 10 generators that will help to pump water in the communities that I sank the boreholes for my people.
“As he who provides water provides life. Human being can not sustain their lives without water.
” I have also disbursed N100,000 each to 10 youths trained in different skills acquisition programme at Wing Commander Abdullahi Ibrahim Vocational and Technology Institute, Lafia.
” All in all I have spend over 50 million naira for the various projects and programs” He added.
The lawmaker also donated N10,000 each to 54 women in order to improve on their standard of living.
Hon Gude, who holds the traditional title of Jagaban Karshi also donated 3000 exercise books to the pupils and students of his constituency in order to improve on their standard of education.
The lawmaker further distributed 150 bags of salt and animal feeds to fulani herdsmen of his constituency.
He assured the people of his constituency of continued good and sound representation at the state legislature.
The lawmaker solicited for the support of all and sundry to enable him, Speaker Danladi Jatau and Gov Abdullahi Sule and other leaders to succeed.
Speaking at the event, Dr Daniel Ewuga Asele Executive Director of Wing Commander Abdullahi Ibrahim Vocational and Technology Institute, Lafia lauded the lawmaker’s efforts in bringing the much needed dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency.
“This is my second time of coming to Karshi where Hon. Jagaban, has provided dividends of democracy to his people” he said.
He expressed his readiness to continue to collaborate with the lawmaker and others to train the youths of his constituecy in different skills acquisition programmes.
The Executive Director called on the people of the constituency to support Hon. Jagaban to succeed.
On his part, Hon. Abdul Umar, the Director General, Hon. Jagaban Campaign Organization commended the lawmaker for his developmental efforts in the constituecy.
Umar listed the achievements of the lawmaker to include boreholes, road and bridges constructions, employment, empowerment, school fees, assistance to the less privileged ones among others.
The DG further said that the lawmaker has trained youths and women in different skills in the state.
He said that Hon. Gude is the best member the constituency has ever produced so far.
Responding, Magaji Shehu, Mrs Godiya Emmanuel and Mohammed Sale all beneficiaries appreciated Hon. Gude for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
They said that the lawmaker has changed the narrative of the constituecy via keying into different policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the constituency.
