Member representing Nasarawa Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, has distributed wrappers to over 200 women (widows) 10 motorcycles, 30 grinding machines and 30 sewing machines worth N30million to the people of her constituency.
She also adopted 200 vulnerable into the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Scheme in order to improve on their health status and standard of living.
Hon. Hajarat disclosed this during her End of the Year Constituency Empowerment Programme tagged ” TALAFIN TAFISU” today in Nasarawa LGA.
She said that her TALAFIN TAFISU Empowerment Programme was a deliberate step and programme designed to use and reach out to the people of her constituency by impacting on their lives positively .
According to her, since my assumption of office, one and half year down the ladder today, this event was the 8th in its series where I have came down home to doll out some packages in different forms for my people and I hope to sustain the humanitarian gesture.
“It gives me great joy and special happiness to inform you that the TALAFIN TAFISU Empowerment Programme for the people of Nasarawa Central Constituency has come to stay and sustained.
“And its impact will continued to be felt among our people, Insha Allah.
“it will interest you to know that the initiative, TALAFIN TAFISU was a deliberate step and programme designed to use and reach out to the people by impacting on their lives positively, provide succour to segments of the society and human endeavors” she said.
According to her, Today’s occasion, the TALAFIN TAFISU has packaged six (6) different programmes aimed at reaching out to the good and peace loving people of my dear Nasarawa Central Constituency.
” This programmes includes Adoption of 200 vulnerable into the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Scheme, distribution of Christmas wrappers to over 200 women, especially widows.
“Distribution of 10 motorcycles, distribution of 30 grinding machines and 30 sewing machines” she said.
Hon. Hajarat appreciated the people of her constituency for giving her the mandate and assured of better days ahead.
“I want to use this medium to once again appreciate my constituents for the mandate and having faith in me.
” And I re-assure you that Nasarawa Central Constituency will be better for it by the grace of God” she added.
The lawmaker urged the beneficiaries to ensure judicious use of the items.
“I urge you all to use whatever you have gotten for the purpose they are meant for, do not sell them.
“Instead use the items for the betterment of yourself, your families and the society at large.
“For those whom our gesture could not reach today please, be patient as time progresses it will get to your turn, that I assure you” she said.
Hon. Hajarat reassure the people of her constituency of her continue partnership with the state government to attract more developmental projects and programmes that would better the lots of the people of the constituency.
Besides, she enjoined the people of her constituency to sustain the peace being enjoyed in the area.
” May I stress that peace is the first instrument of development, let all of us continue to sustain the peace we are known for.
“And enhance our support for the government of Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule to enable him deliver more dividends of democracy for our people” the lawmaker said.
On his part, Dr Yahaya Bawa Ubam, the Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency (NASHIA) has commended Hon. Hajarat for registering 200 people of her constituency into the State Health Insurance Scheme.
He said that the vision of the agency is to facilitate access to affordable, qualitative and sustainable healthcare services to all residents of the state.
Dr Ubam also called on the people of the constituency to appreciate the lawmaker for giving topmost priority to the health of her people.
The Executive Secretary also called on politicians, stakeholders and other people to register their people into the State Health Insurance Scheme in order to improve on the health of their people.
Also speakings, Emir of Nasarawa, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibril, represented by the Emirate Secretary, Dr. Idris Mohammed Loko, Hon. Mohammed Ahmed Hassan, Chairman, Nasarawa LGA, represented by the Council’s Secretary, Hon. Aisha Idoma, Alhaji Salisu Galadima, Chairman, Basira FC and State FA Chairman, Dr Aliyu Bello, Nasarawa State APC Chairman, represented by Mr Isaiah Aggah, Nasarawa West APC Chairman among others have commended Hon. Hajarat over her purposeful leadership in the House.
They said that Hon. Hajarat is making them proud in the state legislature and urged her to sustain the spirit.
They also called on the beneficiaries to use the items to better their standard of living.
They further said that Hon. Hajarat continued projects have improved on the standard of living of the people of her constituency.
Mr Amos Thomas Audi and Hajiya Safiya Aliyu, beneficiaries, who spoke on behalf of others appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture and prayed God to bless her abundantly.
They assured Hon. Hajarat of their loyalty and support beyond 2027 to enable her succeed.
