Junior Chamber International (JCI) Aso has bestowed partnership appreciation award on Transcorp Hilton in recognition of 24 years of unwavering support for the organisation to empower young leaders and foster sustainable community development.
The award was presented at the 2024 JCI Aso Convention and Investiture in Abuja.
Amb. Yetunde Adebisi, JCI Aso President, lauded Transcorp Hilton Abuja for its strategic involvement in the execution of key events and programmes that have impacted greatly on the organisation’s members and the broader community.
Adebisi specifically said that Transcorp Hilton’s continuous partnership has enabled the organisation to achieve significant milestones in leadership development, particularly through its focus on upskilling young people and empowering women.
“Transcorp Hilton Abuja has been more than a partner; it have been a cornerstone of our success. Their consistent support over the years has helped us grow as an organisation and impact the lives of countless young people.
“From our business meetings to leadership seminars and impactful community projects, Transcorp Hilton has always been there to lend a helping hand, ensuring that we continue to inspire change and develop the leaders of tomorrow.”she said.
“JCI Aso has benefitted immensely from Transcorp Hilton’s resources and hospitality, which have been integral to the execution of its programmes in the past years, particularly facilitating critical events such as the annual convention and the investiture ceremony among others.
“These events have empowered the members with valuable leadership tools and provided them with a platform to network, collaborate, and drive community-focused initiatives,” she said.
Adebisi said that partnership between JCI Aso and the hotel has resulted in numerous community-based projects that have directly impacted young people, with a strong focus on youth empowerment, women’s leadership and social development.
According to her, the hotel’s dedication to supporting the development of young people and future leaders in Nigeria reflects its own values of corporate responsibility and commitment to societal betterment.
