The Paramount Ruler of Eggon nation, Aren Eggon, Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku (rtd), has approved “Eggon Youth Association (EYA)” as the new name to be used by Eggon Youth chapters and branches in and around the world with immediate effect.
The first class traditional ruler urged all Eggon youths to urgently change from either Eggon Youth Movement (EYM) and Eggon Youth Wing (EYW) to Eggon Youth Association (EYA) in the interest of harmonious living.
The Eggon Paramount Ruler gave the directive today, Saturday 8th February 2025 when he received reports of the Eggon Youth Transition Committee headed by Mr David Yerima to resolve the issue of both EYM and EYW.
This is contained in a Press Release signed by Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA) Worldwide and made available to newsmen today in Nassarawa Eggon.
He therefore advised all Eggon Youths to abide by his directive and adopt the new name, EYA.
Aren Eggon further said that the palace will take decisive action against any chapter or branch still using EYM or EYW from now on.
He urged Eggon youths to continue to unite and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
