The Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA), has renovated and inaugurated a block of three classrooms at the Local Education Authority (LEA) Primary School in Zamani Community of the FCT.

The National President of NAFOWA, Mrs Rakiya
Abubakar, who handed over the keys to the renovated classrooms to the school on Thursday in Abuja, said this was part of the association’s service efforts and corporate social responsibility.

She explained that the association chose to renovate the classrooms to ensure a conducive learning environment for the pupils.

The NAFOWA president noted that education remained a pillar of national development.

According to her, a modern and well-equipped learning space is a top requirement for nurturing creativity and excellence among pupils.

She explained that the renovation was aimed at providing pupils with a space that would inspire learning, creativity, and excellence.

According to Abubakar, the community road that was also rehabilitated is a vital component in enhancing daily mobility and connectivity to the community.

The Head Teacher of the School, Mr Muhammad Yusuf, expressed profound gratitude to NAFOWA president and offered prayers of blessing to the association.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports reports that Zamani community is home to the Nigerian AirForce Base on Bill Clinton Drive, and also hosts the NAFOWA Cancer Screening Center. (NAN)
