Following a tragic vehicle explosion that occurred on the Kugbo-Karu-Nyanya road in Abuja, the National Blood Service Agency (NBSA) has appealed to Nigerians, especially residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and environs to donate blood.
This is contained in a statement issued by the NBSA.
The explosion, which occurred on Wednesday March 19 left multiple casualties in critical need of blood transfusions.
According to the statement, Hospitals and emergency responders are working relentlessly to stabilize victims, stressing that a steady supply of blood is essential for their survival.
NBSA is calling on eligible donors to visit designated blood donation centers and hospitals across the FCT to contribute.
“Every drop counts and could mean the difference between life and death for those injured.
