“… hails Gov. Sule’s infrastructural development in the institution…”
Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has commended the management of College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia over good revenue generation, general performance and infrastructural development in the institution.
Rt. Hon. Abel Yakubu Bala, the Chairman of the Committee gave the commendation when the committee visited the institution to assess their 2024 budget performance today in Lafia.
Hon. Abel, who is the Deputy Majority Leader of the House said that the performance of the school on the year under review was impressed.
” We are happy with the revenue performance and infrastructural development in the institution.
” The physical assessment is quiet impressive. We are pleased with the construction of the ongoing projects in the college.
” The ongoing construction of hostels and other projects if completed would boost the standard of living of the students and teachers and enhance academic activities” He said.
Abel commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his efforts in developing the institution.
” I want to commend His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule for the ongoing projects. These projects are very laudable.
” We appreciate his Excellency for the developmental strides see in this institution.
” I also want to commend the Rector and his management team for their doggedness and efforts in taking the institution to the next level of development” he said.
The Committee Chairman assured of their support to the institution to succeed while appealing to Gov. Sule to provide more support via funding to the school.
He further assured of their commitment to continue to synergize with the state government for the overall development of the institution and the education at large.
Earlier, Dr. Musa Yahaya Maikafi, the Rector, College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia thanked the committee for being up and doing in ensuring improved standard of education in the institution.
He also appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for funding the activities of the institution.
” I want to appreciate you for the support and for your mutual understanding with us at all times.
” With your support and the support of His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule, the institution has achieved a lot and we will continue to do our best to take this institution to the next level” he said.
The Rector disclosed that the institution is constructing staff offices, hotels accommodation, Cafeteria among other projects.
